Interested
We talked about Japan with children, thought about the flag and the countries Finland and Japan on the map. The children thought about questions to ask on Friday when they via video connection get to communicate with children in Japan . We also saw how the letters look like in Japan and some of the children by own initiative started copying Japanese signs from the sound script that was in Japanese.

From story board to animation.
The storyboard is the master plan when the animation is made, children follow the storyboard and it can be seen in the finish animation.
Storyboard
scene from animationImagination of the makers adds to the animation as it takes form. Giving a few ideas and letting children do themselves ads up to an excellent result.

Right location and actors.
The process making the characters takes some time and the story changes when children let there imagination take over. New backgrounds and characters take form and soon the animating starts. Children learn to break boundaries, what’s possible in real life and that impossible things can be done when animating.
Children had made a house and a bear one child said the bear can’t go in to the house it’s to big, I said that in animations everything is possible and they gladly continued making more things for the animation.
Working together is important in animating
